Carolyn Brown (b. 1936) has been a prominent figure in Dallas photography for decades. Several books of her work have been published, and she been in numerous one-person shows several at prominent institutions. Her work is in many private, corporate, and museum collections, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She's best known for her urban and archaeological documentary work of the Middle East and Central America.
