David Kassan

David Kassan paints family and friends in dauntingly true-to-life representations. While he includes many facial details from blemishes to odd hairs, much of the tension derives from the figures set against arcane white & black city walls. By paying great attention to both the corporal and spiritual nature of his subjects, he composes pieces in which time seemingly stands still.
