David Rickard

David Rickard's interest is in the inherent material properties of our surrounding environment and the spatial relationships between people, objects and architecture.
"We are all astronauts", his recent exhibition at OTTO ZOO, Milano, is inspired by the work of Buckminster Fuller, an American architect who in the Sixties invented the geodetic sphere The phrase "We are all astronauts" speaks on an expanded point of view, one from beyond a geocentric position.
