Straddling the divide between the realms of commercial and fine art photography, Fabrizio Cestari’s photographs reflect his training in cinematography as well as his experience in advertising. His photographs are rich in color, high definition in quality, and figurative in subject matter. More hyper-real and surreal than realistic, they conjure a pop art–style fantasy world filled with characters that evoke the Barbie dolls and superhero toys he grew up with.
