Florencia Marrapodi

Flor Marapodi (aka Podri) is a painter based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Initially working as a tattoo artist for six years, she shifted her focus to painting during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her work explores themes of oppression and resilience, particularly focusing on women's personal struggles within her cultural environment.

Through expressive figuration, Marapodi addresses issues of abuse and its impact on mental health, creating works that serve as both a reflection and a form of denunciation. Her paintings offer a raw and introspective look at these experiences, using bold compositions to highlight themes of vulnerability and strength.
