Gregory Hardy (b.1950, Saskatoon) is a nationally acclaimed painter living and working in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. His work is represented by Nicholas Metivier Gallery, Toronto, Art Placement Inc., Saskatoon, The Peter Robertson Gallery, Edmonton, Gallery Jones, Vancouver, Wallace Galleries, Calgary.
An alumnus of the acclaimed Emma Lake Artists Workshops, Greg Hardy has exhibited extensively across Canada since 1974. For the past 30 years his work has been collected by public and private entities across North America, including The Canada Council Art Bank (Ottawa), Cenovus Energy (Calgary), Mendel Art Gallery (Saskatoon), Edmonton Art Gallery, Confederation Centre of the Arts (Charlottetown) and the Saskatchewan Arts Board. Hardy's signature response to the landscape is marked by a strong use of colour and a bold painterly touch that consistently makes for paintings charged with power and energy.
