Hirokatsu began working in the city of Sapporo in 2017. He has held solo exhibitions in various places such as cafes, art spaces, and galleries.
He started oil painting to calm himself and to heal himself. As he continued, in 2013 he met a professional painter by chance and showed the painter photos of his work, which encouraged him to enter an open competition. He was subsequently selected and decided to become an apprentice to the painter and decided to become an artist.
