Hubert Kiecol

Hubert Kiecol’s works are presented regularly in international solo and group exhibitions. His most important solo shows of the past decades were the one at Josef Albers Museum Quadrat Bottrop (2016), the one at Museum für Gegenwartskunst Siegen (2010), at Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, or at Museum Ludwig in Cologne (both in 2000). Furthermore he has realized numerous projects of art in public spaces. His works are also part of major collections such as ZKM | Museum für Kunst und Medientechnologie, Karlsruhe, Kunsthaus Bregenz, or Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwartskunst.
Until 2015, Hubert Kiecol was professor at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. In 2000 he was awarded the Wolfgang Hahn Prize for Contemporary Art.
