Ilaria Ratti Salvioni

Born in Lugano, Switzerland, Ilaria Ratti graduated in business and administration before embarking on
her world travels. She has gained immense inspiration from the cultures and landscapes encountered
throughout her journey, forming an array of colours and images that she brought to life through her
paintings. Believing that emotions and harmony with the universe are integral to creativity, Ilaria settled
in Dubai in 2008 and has never ceased exploring new visual elements to add to her ever-growing
artwork. This was initially for personal pleasure, until she decided to become more public with her art.
Her work is infused with serenity and joy; according to Ilaria herself, people can interpret something
different from each painting depending on their current mood but will always feel soothed by its vibrant
yet calming atmosphere. Ancient yogic procedures play a role in generating this powerful energy that
each piece of work exudes.
