Izhar Patkin works in narrative form, reinventing structure and technique in visual storytelling. In both his painting and sculptural work, he makes use of innovative media and materials, creating complex visual metaphors. Patkin’s work is included in many permanent collections, including those of The Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; the Museum of Modern Art, New York; Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York: and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; among others.
