Jacinto Moros creates vibrant curvilinear sculptures and relief works that embody a fluid sense of motion as they ebb and flow through the negative space. His swirling sculptures mimic a ribbon blowing in the wind, as in MKM (2019), a maplewood and formica piece in a vivid red hue. Moro’s bent sculptures create three-dimensional webs of intersecting forms, which evolve depending on the angle from which they are viewed. His smooth embossed reliefs, such as TFLM (2018), feature similar curved forms and change in appearance depending on the play of light and shadow on the work’s surface. Moros has participated in exhibitions at galleries across Spain and Germany.
