Jane Zweibel
American
Ms. Zweibel is an accomplished artist with an MFA in Painting from Columbia University and a BA in Visual Art from Bennington College. She has received numerous fellowships and residency awards, including those from the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, the Bronx Museum’s AIM Program, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and the Banff Centre for the Arts. Zweibel has also been awarded grants from the Puffin Foundation and Artist’s Fellowship, Inc. Her work has been featured in prominent publications such as Art in America, The New York Times, and Fiberarts Magazine, and is included in the Elizabeth A. Sackler Feminist Archive at the Brooklyn Museum. With an extensive exhibition history in the U.S. and internationally, she has shown at venues like Baang and Burne Contemporary in New York, A.I.R. Gallery in Brooklyn, and Chaffers Gallery in New Zealand, among others.
