Jean-Baptiste Née
French, b. 1986
French painter, scenographer and visual artist, graduated from Decorative Arts in Paris in 2012, Jean-Baptiste Née works in situ in the mountains and high mountains during stays of several weeks or several months in immersion. Since 2015, he has left increasing room for the action of the elements: rain, snow, frost participate in the development of the work. He regularly establishes his "large workshop" in the Swiss Alps, the Vercors massif as well as during long walks in the Italian Alps.
Jean-Baptiste Née is represented : in Paris by the Camera Obscura gallery, in Geneva by the Ligne Treize gallery, in Ardèche by the Mirabilia gallery, in Brittany by the La Navire gallery.
His first monograph, "Le Monde nu", will be published in 2021 by Éditions Hartpon. In 2022, his work will enter the public collections of MuMa, in Le Havre. It was presented the following year at the Art Paris fair, at the Grand Palais Éphémère.
