Based in Tokyo, Jikken Rat specializes in Spray paint / Stencil Art on discarded materials

Starting his career with Rat-Bike-Custom ( = customize abandoned motorcycle), he moved to the street art scene to breathe new life to wasted materials born here in mass-consumption city, Tokyo.

Through numerous Jikken (= trial), he established his own stencil work - Phrase Lettering , Everyday Products and Creatures surrounding him -are major motives in his works.

Pretending to do similar activities like Laboratory Rat ( =Jikken Rat in Japanese) , he continues to transform discarded daily items into impressive art objets.
