Josh Wallace was born in Vernon, British Columbia in 1995. He graduated from University of Victoria with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2022 and currently lives in Victoria. He has exhibited in British Columbia and has works in the permanent collection of the Vernon Public Art Gallery and in private collections internationally.
Inspired by historical painting, Wallace incorporates traditional techniques to create contemporary imagery. His subjects are friends, family and the landscape, using them to experiment with narratives, compositions and the medium.
