Kamilla Talbot
American, b. 1968
Kamilla Talbot studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the New York Studio School. Solo shows include those at Pamela Salisbury Gallery, Hudson, NY; Trygve Lie Gallery, NY; Charles P. Sifton Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; Bruno Marina Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; and at the Johannes Larsen Museum, Kerteminde, Denmark. Her watercolors and oil paintings have been exhibited in numerous group shows in the US and in Europe. Artist residencies include a fully funded residency at the Vermont Studio Center, as well as grants to paint in Maine, Italy, Newfoundland, and Iceland. She teaches or has taught at the The Art Students League; National Academy School; Brooklyn Botanic Garden; New York Studio School, as well as privately. She is represented by Boom Contemporary. She lives in the Catskills, New York State.
