Kang Tae Hun
South Korean, b. 1975
Kang Tae hun is a Busan-based artist who was born in Busan, South Korea. He earned a bachelor's degree from Dongeui University, Department of Fine Art, in 2002 and received a master's degree in sculpture major in 2004. For the past two decades, Kang Tae hun has been working conceptually to reveal secret but powerful social ideologies and systems that control individual thinking and behavior. Whether it is a regional event, government system, territorial issues, or the world's economic system, he has warned of invisible power that suppresses our lives with various formative languages, such as impressive installations with symbolic objects and texts, film, and new media. Kang has been invited to many solo exhibitions where he spread his theory based on personal experiences, including (Space Bandee, 2006) that talks about totalitarianism and the system base on personal experiences,
