Kaspar Müller plays with issues of authenticity and alienation with humor and wit in his conceptually-driven works. In his film, Forever alone and around the world (2013), he superimposes a furry top hat on a changing backdrop of landscapes. In his group show at Swiss Institute, The St. Petersburg Paradox (2014), Müller's work Tropic of Cancer (2014) enables people to purchase the contents of his Berlin apartment by phone, exploring chance and the social dynamics of commerce in contemporary life. Recent shows include: Federico Vavasori, Milan, 2014; Société, Berlin, 2014; I Shrunk the Kids, Kunsthalle Bern, Bern, 2013; forever alone and around the world, Kunsthalle Zürich, Kadist – Kunsthalle Zürich Production Award, Zurich, 2013; talktalktalk (w.
