Lada Nakonechna
Ukrainian, b. 1981
Lada Nakonechna (born 1981 in Kyiv) studied at the National Academy of Fine Art and Architecture in Kyiv. She is a member of the artist group „Revolutionary Experimental Space“ (R.E.P.) and co-founder of „Hundrada“, a self-organised community which is based on a interdisciplinary cooperation. In 2012, she developed the concept and was also the co-founder of the „Course of Contemporary Art“ – an independent education- and research program for young artists.
Nakonechna was part of many solo as well as group exhibitions worldwide: Universitätsbibliothek Alberten in Leipzig (2011), Galerie EIGEN + ART Leipzig and Berlin (since 2011), Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg (2015), Galerie des polnischen Instituts Düsseldorf (2015), Kyiv Biennial (2015), Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst in Leipzig (2015), Pinchuk Art Centre in Kyiv (2016), Kunsthalle Sparkasse Leipzig (2018).
