In a society that's defined by social norms, influenced by our education and customs, I reflect on how we navigate our lives amidst conflict and happiness. However, I believe we have the capacity to bravely embrace new people and situations, leading to transformative experiences.
In my artwork, I often depict individuals in various forms, many of whom do not wear smiles. Through my paintings, I aim to capture the essence of everyday life and the passage of time. Despite the seemingly somber tone, my paintings exude brightness and positivity because I believe in our ability to face challenges with courage and resilience.
I find joy in observing the inner selves of people, witnessing their deviations from societal norms and expectations. We are not rigid like trees, but rather adaptable like nomads, freely interacting with our surroundings and creating our own paths. This resilience and flexibility serve as the driving force behind our potential, akin to the concept of the rhizome.
Merely conforming to societal expectations and dressing in a conventional manner may offer a semblance of pride, but true fulfillment lies in our genuine connections with others and our shared aspirations. Just as in the 'Dead Poets Society,' we learn the importance of independent thought and the beauty of language.
I aspire to be like a poem in our lives, where language and thoughts intertwine to shape our world.
