Margaret R Thompson

Margaret R. Thompson (b.1990) is a painter living and working in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Visual Arts at Eckerd College with a concentration in Latin American and socio-cultural anthropology. Filtering reality through her mythology, Thompson weaves her responses to music, transcendence through ritual, explorations of cosmology, and a call for environmental intimacy into intimate and personal symbolist paintings. Margaret has shown in several national and international galleries including Arusha Gallery (Edinburgh, London, Bruton, UK) Red Arrow (Nashville, TN), Visionary Art Projects (NYC), Wilder Gallery (London, UK), Duran Mashaal Gallery (Montreal, QB), Lamb Gallery (London, UK). She has forthcoming exhibitions in Ibiza, Nashville, Mexico City, and the UK.
