Mariana Junqueira
Brazilian, b. 1986
Born in Minas Gerais in 1986, Mariana Junqueira graduated as a Fashion Designer at the Istituto Europeo di Design in São Paulo. Artist and illustrator, she brings a creative and innovative approach to her artwork.
With her vibrant and dramatic style, she is known for creating unique works that inspire and move.
Gold foliage is present among the main techniques used, as a childhood legacy in the historic city of Poços de Caldas, her hometown, where she participated in her first exhibition at just 8 years old. It was also there that she taught textile printing workshops and organized a solo exhibition with the theme "Fashion and Art", in 2016, at the Historical and Geographical Museum.
She participated in an exhibition at the Virtual Galleries of the Universidad de Maule, Chile, being the only Brazilian woman included in the public notice.
Now residing in Campinas, she opened her own atelier, the M. Junqueira Studio, a place where inspiration and desires are transformed into paintings and exclusive objects.
