Marisa Albanese
Italian, 1947–2021
Marisa Albanese lived and worked in Naples.
Drawings, sculpture, video and photography are the languages she used in her installations. She has exhibited in numerous public and private venues both in Italy and abroad and has realized sculptures on public commission. In 2014 she worked with a group of at-risk kids from Scampia, Naples. She realized on the island of Lampedusa artistic projects with migrant people.
