Mark Maggiori
French, b. 1977
Through his paintings, Mark Maggiori captures the essence of the American West—an interest that dates back to a formative childhood road trip across the United States. After studying art in Paris, Maggiori transitioned to painting American Western scenes in 2014, earning acclaim for his detailed landscapes and unique perspective, reminiscent of artists like Frederic Remington and Frank Tenney Johnson. Maggiori’s work has been exhibited at institutions such as the Briscoe Western Art Museum in San Antonio, Texas, and the Autry Museum of the American West in Los Angeles. Maggiori is actively involved in the art scene of New Mexico and supports art education through the Taos Pueblo Art Education Fund. He is also known as a founding member of the band Pleymo.
