Minchul Song completed his B.F.A in Art Education at Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul and a Diplom in Freie Kunst from the University of Fine Arts Hamburg, Germany. He had the following solo shows: Square moon(2021, Seoul Cultural Foundation Geumcheon Art Factory PS333, Seoul), Words of Water(2017, Suwon Art Museum, Suwon), Trough Project No.6 - not made visible(2015, German Cultural Center, Seoul), and How to Make the Biggest Circle(2014, Gallery Kunstdok, Seoul), and He participated in the following group exhibitions: Surim Art Prize Nominee Exhibition(2021, Kim Hee-Soo Art Center, Surim Foundation, Seoul), 8 Artists Voyage(2020, Seongnam Cube Art Museum, Seongnam), Hairless: Hard-boiled & Toxic(2018, Gyeonggi Art Museum, Ansan), and Non-Place(2018, Gallery Damdam, Korean Cultural Center, Berlin). He was an artist-in-residence at the Seoul Arts Foundation's Geumcheon Art Factory(2015, Seoul) and his works are collected in Osan Museum of Art, Osan, National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Art Bank, Seoul and Montblanc, Hamburg Germany.
