Mitch Shea is an American sculptor and draftsman born in Augusta, Georgia, in 1987.
In 2011, after working as an assistant sculptor on various monuments in the San Francisco Bay Area, he moved to Florence, Italy.
He began studying academic figurative sculpture and drawing at the Florence Academy of Art. After graduating from the academy as mentioned above, he now serves as the director of the
Sculpture program and has been teaching there since 2013.
