Moreno Ovani

Moreno Ovani lives and works in Pesaro, Italy, where he born in 1969.
Since time immemorial he has been always attracted by figurative design, but he limited his natural talent to al lot of sketches on paper by pencil and charcoal pencil, also during his activity of setting up exhibition areas.
Since a few years he has completely dedicated himself to painting large formats, replacing the chiaroscuro of pencil with those of oils and acrylics on canvas or paper.
Whit an inexhaustible and constant work made by a pure technical research and focused on color-matter at the end has came to a strong chromatic minimalism art that usually emerge from the darkness whit bodies or statues.
The meaning of this psychological category is in the personal subconscious, in the dark and individual experiences that the artist manages to bring out with decision.
All of his most recent works are of considerable size, they are on canvas or paper and made with oil and acrylics.
