Natacha Mankowski
French, born 1986

Parisian artist Natacha Mankowski employs painting, installation, and architecture to examine the boundary between real and artificial space, and to blur the line between the representation of space and the perceived reality of it. She creates what she calls an “archaeology of the virtual,” aiming to reveal to her audience the invisible architecture that surrounds them. Mankowski received her MA in Architecture from the École Spéciale d’Architecture and was awarded the Tony Garnier Prize in 2012.
