Oleg Litvinov
Ukrainian, b. 1957
Oleg Litvinov is an artist who invites viewers of his paintings to plunge into the world of phantasmagoria and myths. Chilling apocalyptic stories fascinate with their unreal otherworldly creatures that fill the pictures, intertwining with each other in their stories, sorting out relationships with each other. Mythological heroes, filled with warm, living human tones, telling biblical stories or stories from ancient epics, coexist with deities who, in parallel, wage the same struggle among themselves in heaven as the heroes on earth. Gothic fans will definitely like Horsemen of the Apocalypse or The Triumph of Death. And connoisseurs of the ancient epic will not remain indifferent to the beautiful bodies of powerful courageous heroes and the figures of beautiful feminine heroines. Each painting by Oleg Litvinov is a unique work of art that arose in the artist’s imagination, created thanks to his talent, skill and vast artistic experience. The paintings of this master can be looked at for a long time and interestingly and each time you find more and more new details unnoticed during previous viewings. Therefore, they will delight and captivate you for a very long time, and your guests will simply be intrigued by such a canvas in your home.
