Pascal Haudressy is known for his sculptures and video installations that investigate the “link between the remote past and the future, and between science and myth,” as he has said. Many of his sculptures feature architectural elements, such as clusters of marble orbs, while others juxtapose these components with distinctly figurative designs, pointing toward more complex issues. His video installations hint at narratives and explore themes relating to nature. Across media, Haudressy’s works are eerie and meditative, playing with light, shadow, and movement, and merging virtual and physical space.
