Paul Rousso’s work examines themes of consumer value, perception, and the ephemeral nature of contemporary life. Using media such as paper and acrylic, the contemporary pop artist creates large-scale, hyperrealistic sculptures of crumpled money, candy wrappers, and other everyday objects. Rousso studied at California College of the Arts. His process involves painting, printing, sculpting, welding, and digital manipulation. Rousso’s work has been exhibited internationally, and belongs in private collections across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
