Phoebe Jamieson

Phoebe Jamieson (b. 1979 Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian artist working in painting and sculpture. Jamieson examines moments of connectedness through shape, form and materiality. Throughout her work, Jamieson juxtaposes vibrant and muted hues to reflect the inherent emotions of color as well as the playfulness of both nature and the human spirit. At the core of her artistic practice, her work examines the active imagination in order to bridge the conscious and unconscious, creating empathetic pathways to understand our shared connections through paintings and sculptures that become vessels of storytelling and humanity.

Jamieson has exhibited in New York and London, and her work is in private collections in Australia, Europe, and the United States.
