Rodney Smith

Fashion and portrait photographer Rodney Smith primarily shot in black and white, producing pieces that possess a timeless quality, often featuring sharp highlights and deep shadows. Chris Between Hedges, Warwickshire, England (2006) is a striking black-and-white photo of a figure shown from behind and standing amidst rows of tall hedges. Smith, who received a Master of Divinity in Theology from Yale University, also minored in photography, studying under esteemed photographer Walker Evans.
