Sam Levy
Sam Levy is a Brooklyn-based painter working from direct perception with the landscape and figure. His work has been exhibited at galleries such as The Painting Center and John Davis Gallery. In 2015, he participated in the Jentel Artist Residency, and in 2023, he received the Hohenberg Faculty Travel Grant from the New York Studio School to study ancient frescoes in Pompeii. Sam has taught painting and drawing for over 15 years and is currently an Instructor and Co-Atelier Head at the New York Studio School, as well as Adjunct Faculty at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
