Sean Burpee

A Detroit based artist specializing in largescale and new format cross stitches. In addition to his
artistic endeavors, he also works as a professional puppeteer at the Detroit Opera, a music producer/dj, and indulges in pottery as a hobby. With a diverse advertising background, he played a part in pioneering branded content at BuzzFeed and Slate Magazine in New York City. Most recently he worked as the Brand Content Director and senior strategist at Doner in Detroit. As a freelancer, he has had the privilege of working with notable clients such as Jonathan Van Ness from Queer Eye, LeVar Burton, the Attitudes podcast (formerly Throwing Shade), and Comedy Bang! Bang
