Tierney McGilvray

Tierney McGilvray was born in Buffalo, NY in 1997. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication from St. Bonaventure University in 2019, and moved to Manhattan, NY shortly after graduating to pursue a career in Advertising. While Tierney continues her advertising career, she is establishing herself as a fine artist with the ultimate goal of exhibiting her work at a global scale. McGilvray exhibited and sold original canvas paintings in the CB8 Manhattan Outdoor Art Show in October of 2022 and at the Main Street Pops Hoboken Artisan Market in September of 2023. She regularly paints and sells commissions in addition to publishing an on-going body of work under the alias To Heart by Hand. established publicly in June of 2020. Her creativity has been celebrated academically and professionally as she was awarded the Mary A. Hamilton Woman of Promise award by the Jandoli School of Communication at St. Bonaventure University in 2019 and most recently, Best Use of Print in Media Post's Creative Media Awards in February 2023. She currently resides in Hoboken, NJ.
