Tine Lundsfryd is a Brooklyn-based artist from Falster, Denmark. After studying music, voice, and theater, she focused on visual art, studying under Carsten Dinnsen in Copenhagen before earning an MFA from Parsons School of Design. With over three decades in New York, she has explored geometric abstraction and process painting, using loose marks that evolve into structured elements to create metaphors for nature and human culture. Her work has been widely exhibited, and she has received numerous awards, including grants from the Helena Rubinstein Foundation and the American Institute of Arts and Letters.
