Tom Fabritius

The visual world of Tom Fabritius bares is of a distinct, soothing character. It is often that he playfully inhabits a space of meta commentary. At times, he does that by transmuting the flashing imagery associated with television into the serene aquarelle. The digital media image turns into the chemical image of photography further into the texture of a physical painting. At other times, he thematically brings in stage metaphors to blur the boundaries between visual and performance art problematizing the relationship with the viewer.
