Veefer
American
VEEFER, VFR, VF, VFRESH—regardless of the name he’s using, VEEFER began writing in 1985 and has continuously proven his dedication to his chosen path: painting illegally in the New York City streets.
VEEFER emerged from the streets and ventured into conventional gallery spaces, marking a notable shift in his artistic trajectory. In recent years, he has showcased his distinctive New York style through various solo and group exhibitions held in New York and neighboring cities. However, it is important to note that VEEFER continues to maintain his street presence, embodying the essence of a genuine graffiti writer who remains connected to his roots. His classic, no-nonsense style is in part homage to the graffiti pioneers that paved the way for him, yet VEEFER’s recognizable tags and throw-ups have made him a prolific writer in his own right.
