Walter Libuda

Walter Libuda is born in 1950. From 1973 to 1979 he studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig with Bernhard Heisig. He don´t practice classical painting, the target is not to illustrate but the process of converting. How to paint a smell, a read book or a discussion? Painting changes into an intermedial product and the artist morphes into a converter. Treating the viewer gentle, Walter Libuda evolve his own perception through permanent growing experiences and consequently changing the the reading of the picture. You will never get prefabricated titles or versions suggested by the artist.
