About Agnes Lux

Agnes Lux, once called a “neo-process artist” by New York Times critic Roberta Smith, makes conceptual collages. Her most recent series is comprised of large-scale drawings composed of white index cards on which the artist has drawn shapes in graphite. She first mailed these to herself, replacing lost or irrevocably damaged pieces with blank cards, and then arranged them into grid-based geometric patterns.
