Alice Wang (b. 1983, China) makes sculptures, drawings, videos, prints, and experimental films. She is also a member of Nonsensical, a publication collective. Wang received her BFA from the California Institute of the Arts and MFA from New York University. She has presented work at LACE (Los Angeles), Chronus Art Center (Shanghai), the Armory Center for the Arts (Pasadena), Human Resources (Los Angeles), Immanence (Paris), 80WSE (New York), ltd los angeles, and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art; her forthcoming solo exhibition will be presented at Capsule Shanghai this fall. Wang is based in Los Angeles, and teaches sculpture at the UC Riverside.
