In 1963, Warhol made the Flash Complete Portfolio, a portfolio of 11 screenprints based on images found in mass media about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
They were assembled in a book that featured text taken straight from the newspaper, which was what led to the title of Flash – November 22, 1963.
