Perhaps the most influential artist of the 20th century, Pablo Picasso may be best known for pioneering Cubism and fracturing the two-dimensional picture plane in order to convey three-dimensional space. The complete set of 25 offset lithographs, on pale blue paper, the full sheets, unbound (as issued), in collaboration with Ralph Thomas Ward (Corkie) who wrote the poems. Plate IV.30 hand-inscribed in the imagery "hi Tom" and plate IV.32 with a few dashed 'doodles'.
