Perhaps the most influential artist of the 20th century, Pablo Picasso may be best known for pioneering Cubism and fracturing the two-dimensional picture plane in order to convey three-dimensional space. The complete set of 18 offset lithographs, 15 with hand-coloring and some with applied gold leaf or trim, *Piglet *is a double plate, on laid paper, the full sheets, bound (as issued) with later pink boards cover with stamped title, recipes by Suzie Frankfurt, with original fuchsia tissue overlays.
