Apollonia Morrill is an artist living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her nuanced, film-based works explore the significance of place and the human stories embedded in our surroundings, especially those not readily seen. She documents complex cultural moments by photographing how they are expressed in the landscape and the built environment. Her work has been shown at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, SF Camerawork, and Stephen Wirtz Gallery, among others.
