In his work Babak Kazemi focuses on social, cultural and political phenomena linked to the history of his country. His photo series "A Report for D'Arcy" exposes real-life implications of the Iranian oil production for the local environment. In his attempt to showcase a fictional report to one of Persia's principal oil founders William Knox D'Arcy, Kazemi discovers the true realities of a business of exploitation.
