Sculptor Barbara Wallace began her artistic training at the Art Students League of New York. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, and a Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Wallace is an Adjunct Distinguished Professor at Kean University and an Adjunct Professor at Passaic County Community College. The human figure is the main inspiration for Wallace’s art. Conceptually, her sculptures address the dynamics of the individual and relationships. She currently works with various mixed media materials including recycled paper, wire, and acrylic paint.
