Dancing in the Sky depicts a tree with branches like persons. The branches-people are dancing a Celebration of Life. All the branches – persons are enjoying the dance. This sculpture conveys a message of optimism and love for the human being.
An early sculpture of this series were shown in the 9th Florence Biennale and featured on its catalog. It was also featured in the Chinese art magazine Top Floor. Dancing in the Sky was the model for a public sculpture, 23 feet tall, 5 tons bronze monument installed by Gerenstein in a park in Shanghai, China (WangJia Plaza, Pudong).
A certificate of authenticity with a photo of the sculpture, an embossed seal and the signature of Beatriz Gerenstein will be provided with the sculpture.
