This collection of four hanging potted planters, “Vera,” “Ida,” “Florence” and “Nadine,” are imagined and created exclusively for Chamber. The planters, carved from travertine and Carrara marble, pay homage to the centuries-old tradition of marble craftsmanship in Italy. Designed by THÉVOZ—CHOQUET and manufactured by Bloc studios, each planter is made from materials salvaged from the excess of industrial excavations in large Italian marble quarries.
The project is part of a larger collection of household objects and furniture items that highlight luxury, sustainability, and the weight, strength, and idiosyncrasies of one of earth’s most naturally diverse materials.
